The Turkish American Business Association (TABA/AmCham) was established in 1987 as a non-profit organization and is an official representative of the United States Chamber of Commerce in Turkey. Our goal is to further the competitiveness of Turkey as an investment location, promote trade and investment between Turkey and the United States and strengthen transatlantic relations.

TABA/AmCham has made it a priority to keep its members informed. Therefore, TABA/AmCham produces a bi-weekly newsletter and a bi-monthly magazine.

New U.S Ambassador

TAMA AMCHAM has elected its new president.

Mr. Haluk Dincer  was elected as president.

Turkish American Business Association (TABA / AmCham) 28th ordinary general assembly was held on May,31th 2014 in Ritz Carlton hotel. After the  general assembly, on June,5 th  the new president  was elected by TABAAmCham's board.

 

He has been president of Türkish American Business Council of Foreign Economic Relations Board  of Turkey. Haluk  Dincer  who has conducted significant achievements in the developing Turkish-American economic and commercial relations will represent Turkish industrialists and businessman in the upcoming period.

U.S.Ambassador Francis 
Ricciardone’s  task has expired.

He has been serving since January 1, 2011. Instead of Ricciardone, President Barack Obama  nominated John  Bass, the U.S. State Department Executive Secretary andformer U.S. Ambassador to Tbilisi. For Bass’ appointment to the U.S. Embassy in Ankara, approval of U.S. Senate's is required.
